24-Hour Shops at UP Ayala Land Technohub

Twenty-four-hour shops are just amazing aren't they? They're open whenever you need them. There are at least two 24-hour establishments at the UP Ayala Land Technohub Retail Center. There's KFC. And there's the ever reliable MiniStop. I believe the ice cream is available 24-hours too!

Updates on the Hershey's Dark Choco Ice Cream at MiniStop Technohub

Here's an update on that best-seller ice cream at MiniStop UP Technohub that I had(have) such a craving for. Peak ice cream buying time is after lunch and during coffee break in the afternoon. At these times, people really line up for it. Age range is from about 6 to about 60. No kidding!

While you're waiting in line, you get to pray that the ice cream machine would not break as it sometimes has the habit of doing so. You also pray that there would still be enough ice cream for you, dark choco flavor please, specifically. You should be specific when you pray. And, when it's your turn, you have to wait for about a minute or more because the cashier/ice cream maker says that they need to slow down as they make the ice cream as it is usually still soft at peak times.

I finally tasted the MiniStop dark choco ice cream!

In fairness to MiniStop, I went there again, this time not hoping for that dark choco ice cream to avoid getting disappointed if ever the machine was still broken, and lo and behold!

Day4: I was able to buy that choco ice cream and when I tasted it, it was like heaven! It probably was not that good but then again, cravings are cravings. At least at the moment when I was enjoying it, it was like fulfilling one thing on my bucket list before I return to dust.

I still have not tasted the chocolate-flavored ice cream at MiniStop Technohub!

This is such a frustration!

Day1: My friends and I used our afternoon break at the office to go to MiniStop Technohub to buy the new chocolate-flavored ice cream. When we got there, the chocolate-flavored ice cream is all gone! Such a best-seller. So I settled for the vanilla.

Day2: We came back hoping we could buy that choco ice cream this time. When we got there, the ice cream machine, they said, was not functional.

Day3: We again came back, forever hopeful. The machine is still broken!

The brat in me is already shouting WHAT THE **** IS WRONG with their business process there?! Does it take ages for the ice cream machine to get fixed? Don't you guys know that to some people ice cream is comfort food?! I want that chocolate ice cream NOW! Not the chocolate ice cream that you can get from their freezer, but the chocolate ice cream that comes out of that broken ice cream machine! No Substitutes!
